Political and Campaigning Societies Rep Victory!

When the results of the UCLan SU by-election came out, I was genuinely jumping for joy. I am so happy to announce that I am the new Political and Campaigning Societies Rep on the Sports and Societies Development Committee!

I would like to thank everyone that voted for me as Political and Campaigning Societies Rep at the University of Central Lancashire. As the only person on the ballot, it was not a difficult election however I am grateful to people that didn’t vote to re-open the ballot.

I will make sure that societies at the university will get the representation that they so deserve and I will also ensure that students are encouraged to establish new political societies. At our university, there is not much political debate and I hope to encourage that to change.

Thank you UCLan students, I hope to serve you well!
